Just found out I’m pregnant🥺 Had a c section 15 weeks ago

Hi ladies, I’m honestly just so very confused on what to do. I’ve just found out that I’m pregnant and I’m extremely worried about moving forward with the pregnancy due to all the risks that could happen. Has anyone been through this? Getting pregnant again so soon after a c section?😶

Firstly, congratulations, either way this goes, it's scary, but you've got this. Secondly, hear what the drs have to say, but also do your own research. I only ended up with a C section because the drs didn't educate me (or apparently themselves) so I think you should 100% speak to others this has happened to. I spoke to a lady recently who told me that with my next, it's best to do c section again, as her internal stitches did rip during labour (pushing) and she was 2.5 years pp

yes I’m trying to reach out to others that have had a very similar time frame and definitely will be speaking to a proper doctors as midwife’s & GP’s have their own opinions

I am 17w pregnant and 6m pp. Everything is going well, I'll just need another c-section to avoid rupture of my c-section scar during birth.

I’m 4 months pp and 10 weeks pregnant. My ob said it happens more often than people think. She is a high risk pregnancy specialist. She said I can go about my pregnancy normally. You can always text me! We can go through this journey together I have a lot of back and forth emotions on being pregnant again.

I think this happens a lot, and as others have commented, your doctor will most likely recommend another c section rather than a VBAC (which often is only tried after a year + before getting pregnant again). But otherwise I don't believe there are any big risks

congratulations! Glad it’s all going well. Yes for sure that’s my biggest worry. Have you had any pain regarding the scar?

my biggest fear is just the rupture and the scar not being fully healed internally and yes for sure!

how many months after a c section did you get pregnant again?

oh yes without a doubt another c section will have to take place that I’m already aware of and the biggest risk the the uterine rupture

Thats very valid. Trust me I was freaking out when the lines popped up. I cried and threw up. It’s going to be okay tho just keep your head up and if you feel something is off go to the dr immediately.

I’m currently pregnant and fell pregnant 9 weeks after I had my c section, I’m going to try push for a natural birth but it might have to be a c section, I know they won’t let me go to full term so new baby is going to be born when my current baby is 10 months old x

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.

32 weeks

32 week growth scan and clinic appointment. Did anything unusual happen? Ive heard a few people saying 32 weeks was when they had a induction date

Groin pain?

So I’m 34 weeks with my second and for a couple days now I’ve had terrible groin pain so bad that sometimes I can’t even walk or shift a certain way or I feel like the baby is just gonna rip out of my groin… I definitely was uncomfortable towards the end with my last pregnancy but this is just absolutely awful. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or anything that helps?? It’s making it so hard to still care for a toddler when I can barely move without pain..
