Trust your instincts they come naturally 🩷 6789081452 you can text me if you would like I had a boy last April he was my first

you’ll learn your baby as you go, there’s no handbook to motherhood. don’t be hard on yourself, give yourself grace & rest when the baby sleeps!

Always make sure when putting nappy on that his lil willy is facing down, if your worried about anything contact you health care provider and go easy on yourself take each day as it comes

I'm not going to give cliche advice because the meaning of it truly is lost in the throws of the trenches. Don't worry about baby not pooping till it's past 5 days. Most of your deepest concerns, are truly nothing to be concerned about. Always put the new diaper below the old one before removing the old one in case there's a surprise stream!! If you have mainly white or tan clothes for him....don't. between dirt and blowouts you'll be scrubbing forever. Don't stress as much as people will stress you out about how hard it is, it's hard but you've got this! More than anything any time you're becoming overwhelmed look at the precious face you brought into this world and take a moment to breathe.

Change his diaper fast he WILL piss on you. Have the diaper already open in position with your Vaseline on hand to putt on his butt !

Boys are fragile, too. They have big emotions and are the sweetest. Get a baby carrier so you can do things at the same time while holding him. Sterilize all bottles, nipples, misc. parts, and anything to do with pumping. Set up a routine for yourself and baby for sleep/feeds. Look up wake windows. Don't buy too many newborn diapers or clothes, they grow fast. Get a car seat and keep him facing backwards for as long as possible; safer on their spines. Prepare yourself for when they become more independent; always think ahead for their safety. Get baby gates for bottom and top of the stairs. Triple paste is the best diaper cream and aquaphor is great for their skin. Look for a pediatrician before baby comes and meet with them to see if they're the right fit. Coconut oil helps with cradle cap. Most of all, soak it all in because time truly does go by fast.

Another secret tip that’s my favorite as a nanny of 10 years and now mom- Get scented dog poop bags! Keep in the car and diaper bag! If a blow out happens or diaper change is needed you have a bag ready to go! It’s the perfect size for diapers or clothes! we keep a pack in the trunk of the car, one in stroller and one in diaper bag! No one has ever given me this tip but it’s one of my favs! They make speciality things for babies but this is a lot cheaper!! Trust your gut momma you got this
