IVF Question
Hi all!
My embryo transfer cycle was just cancelled on Friday. My body was not responding to the Gonal F and my lining was not thickening. I am now cycle day 16 and just wondering if it is possible to be pregnant. I have been having on and off flu like symptoms, constipation, as well as acid reflux. I would think that the fertility clinic would know if I was pregnant. I got my last period on October 20th and my cycle length is usually 37 ish days. Does anyone think I could be pregnant?

You shouldn’t have been having sex during your cycle so if you followed medical advice I’m assuming not.
You are full of drugs so unlikely (if you kept on having sex)
I know it’s disappointing but take a break - it might happen naturally in-between cycles - and then go again in the new year

@Francesca no one informed me of not having sex during my cycle, I actually never even thought of that- thank you for letting me know.
your consultant should have told you! I had my cycle cancelled as they asked me if I had sex and I did 24hrs after I shouldn’t have
@Francesca oh wow. Honestly, I'm not with a very good clinic and they neglect a lot. They definitely didn't tell me about not having sex and I've done 3 transfers with them!
I think it's very unlikely that you are pregnant considering when your cycle started, your typical cycle length, and the fact that your lining isn't thick.

I would speak to your consultant asap and get a blood test. You have so many drugs in your body I would hate for you to get false hope. I wish you all the best
Yeah, have you already taken any drugs that act as a trigger? I know a lot of those types of drugs can cause false positives/look like HCG.
My doctor increased my dosage for 3 extra days to increase my follicle size which helped my lining thicken up
