Breast pump dilemma

Hi mamas! I’ve been trying to look for a breast pump for a month now and I really cannot get a conclusion or stick to one! What’re your recommendations? What do you guys have or what do you guys definitely do not recommend? ☺️ I would love a wearable one but I’ve heard the suction is not as good as the normal ones?

I’ve gone for a spectra wall pump, wearable & a manual just incase! There’s a group on here for support on exclusive pumping so I asked in there. I ended up getting mine all from vinted but selected ones with little or no actual usage x

Heard momzy one are good? But not sure- mixed reviews. Following this as I am looking for one too.

That’s the link to the group on here, very useful ☺️

Are you planning on exclusively pumping from birth? It'll make a big difference on what you should go for and what you spend on it. If you are just wanting to pump a little alongside breastfeeding, consider starting with a (much cheaper) manual pump until your supply settles and you can get an idea of what your needs are. If you are planning on pumping from birth then would definitely suggest spending out on something comfortable. Personally I got on well with the elvie for my pumping needs. It is discrete and quiet, but I did find if I moved around too much the milk could leak a bit 😅 if I was exclusively pumping I would have invested in two so both sides could be done at once

I had a Medela handsfree with my first and really liked it. Also had a cheaper Ardo one as a back up as this was the type the neonatal unit loaned me initially. I'd also say it's worth getting a cheap manual pump for times when you just need to ease a bit of pressure or clear a blockage and it's not worth washing and sterilising your whole electric pump.

Elvie stride is a good option I used in my 1st pregnancy x
