Dinner time suggestions

What time do you feed your LO’s dinner? My LO is 18 months and has dinner at 5pm, wondering if that is too early.

We usually have tea around 5.30pm

My LO has 'tea' at nursery at 3.45 and she gets a snack at 5. I don't normally give her anything else before she goes bed unless she didn't eat well during the day. On the weekend, she has dinner around 5 and then will probably try steal our food when we're eating around 6. If it works for your little one, stick with it!

6-6.30pm otherwise he’s be hungry before bed. Asleep by 8.30

We prioritise eating together as a family so we do dinner at 6 once me and my partner have finished work.

Usually around 6/6:30

5:30-6:00 and as a family unless hubby working late then just me and her, always at the table. It’s totally personal preference. I know some families that eat around 3-4 as they have older kids and want to feed them tea early after school, they usually give their LO a snack before bed as they go at 8 (usually a bedtime pouch or some porridge or something) Xx

Our time fluctuates across the week depending what time we get home from work but is always between 530/630pm

Dinner around 5pm -6pm then a little snack before bedtime around 8.30pm since we don’t do milk before bedtime anymore

6 30 - 7 bedtime 8 - 8 30
