@Patricia thank you for the kind words and the advice. I’ve heard it’s best to have a quick breather but as a first time mom, I do feel bad letting him cry but will try it out so I don’t feel overwhelmed.
You are allowed a drink and 5 mins of peace, do not beat yourself up. You are doing great! Keep going!
@Robyn thank you!
You’re allowed a break and to drink to relax! I’ve done it before and I’m currently missing my wine on rough days with my toddler as I’m pregnant with our second
You’re doing amazing mama!! don’t beat yourself up, as your still human, and it’s normal to feel defeated/frustrated, if they are colicky, a baby sling can help, as a mama you also have to fill your cup too, so you can pour into your baba, and at the end of the day your LO still had a full tummy and I’m sure he knows he is loved ❤️
I have learnt that sometimes you have to put them down even when crying. Close the door and have a quick breather. Baby will never settle if you're stressing around. I've had 2 reflux babies and it will get better once you start solids. I used to carry my wee man in a sling and also used a baby swing, which kept him somewhat upright. I wouldn't feel bad about the beers. It's not something I'd personally do to cope with stress as I'm a lightweight and would end up feeling worse in the morning 🤣 But it's up to you how you unwind. Also I had problems with milk production and oatmilk has done such a miracle for me. Don't need to top up at all. Incase you haven't tried yet. All the best and don't feel bad x
