Anyone else's kitties make this noise?

I've never heard other cats make the noises my cats make when they communicate. Is this normal? And does anyone know what it actually means? She sounds like she's in distress but she's trying to get my attention to throw her spring for her 😭 They never 'meow', they just scream at me 😂 bless their little hearts 🥺

Sounds similar to the brrrr/chiriping sound they make sometimes!? Which is usually alert/interested 🤔 some make it at prey when they want to get it, some would possibly do this as a way to get your attention? Like they want to play etc 🤷🏻‍♀️ though I'm not 100% as this is more screamy than I'm used to 😆 they all have their own ways so I wouldn't worry about it. I find talking to them lots and using simple words etc can get them to learn more words if you will? Mine will make a sound very similar to "oout" when she is asking to go out as I've repeated "out" a lot and slowly so she's copied me over the years 😆 does similar for her food saying "nnoow" as I usually say "dinner now?" When speaking to her. They're funny little things 🤣 gotta love em for trying xx

So cute! 😍 Every cat I've had has had their own distinct calls. The two cats I have now sound very different to each other. One makes cute squeaky noises and the other sounds like a new york gangster 😄

My kitten used to when younger, when we just adopted her. But now she pitches much lower to match my other male senior cat 😅

My cat ‘shouts’ at me sometimes 😂

@Emily they do make their trilling sounds too sometimes. They're just very needy atm and want my attention all the time 😅 aawww haha thats crazy that your cats mimics your words now! They are so smart x

@Jenny haha! I'd love to hear how the new York gangster sounds! That's hilarious x

@Romina aawwwww so maybe their noises will change as they grow

@Karolyn haha welcome to the club! 🤣
