Why are people so judgmental

I posted a question on here genuinely trying to get answers because I want to be a good Mom and do the best I can for my kid and I want more than anything to be a great Mom. I understand that my own upbringing can influence my instincts and not be what is actually best. I want to be better than my parents were. I want to learn. Yet a simple question can get such hate from others on the internet. I even got a response of “how is this a question, good thing you are incognito”. How awful, to be torn down for not knowing what to do… I was incognito because I know how quick anyone is to judge, feeling hidden on the internet. That was my first post. I came here looking for women who support women with compassion. I am deleting this app. People show more compassion and understanding in person.
