If baby is around 3 months there is what's called the 3 month nursing crisis. My IBCLC recommended the following: Give some by bottle first then try to latch. Lots of skin to skin Contact naps Don't force baby to nurse Also, i want to add that pumps are not as efficient at removing milk as babies are so don't stress that you seem to be getting less milk than you were!
Only when he is gassy
I went through this too and second what @Kelly mentioned about the 3 month bf crisis. It was a tough couple of weeks as my LO adjusted but we’re doing much better. I would say the worst of it lasted two weeks for us and then slowly improved from there. Hang in there and stay calm. It’s really hard not to get anxious but you and your LO will find your groove again. One thing that helped us was to nurse right before or after a nap so that she was sleepy and to nurse in a dark quiet room to keep things calm and distraction free.
My baby goes on strike during the day time when I’m on my period or ovulating so I give him a two oz bottle to get him started and then he’ll latch after that. I hope this helps!
