One year old screeching
Recently my now 1 year old son has taking to screeching like he’s in a horror movie for attention, or even if in interacting with him.
I understand he doesnt have the language yet, so this is normal behavior until he learns how to talk more, but its driving me insane! 😆
He has give me sign down pat, no, but we’re working on more, toy, eat. Homeboy is making it hard though 😂
As a former teacher, i wasnt phased when my work kids did it, but its totally different when youre at home and its your own child doing it constantly, and honestly used to be your safe space to destress from the chaos of teacher life Haha. 😂

Both of my girls did this when they were about that age. I was definitely concerned with my first child lol. But with my second I realized that’s just what all babies do unfortunately 😂
My little girl is the exact same. It hurts my ears. It does worry me that it is more than just a tantrum. @Caitlin did they grow out of it?

And he only does it when im either really close, or he sees me! 1’s are like a test run of the terrible 2’s
