Milk drying up

My current pregnancy is making my milk slowly dry up and I am so sad. My daughter turns one on Monday so I know we’ve done well making it to a year but I wanted to hang on to these moments a bit longer with her before the next baby comes 😔

I had the same issue. I had to stop a week ago, which is two weeks before her 1st birthday. I definitely understand the feeling.

I’m in the same boat my daughter turns one on the 28th and I’ve been supplementing with formula but it’s definitely sad

@Raye I have enough milk in the freezer to last several more weeks and then I guess I will switch to cows milk. When are you due with this baby?

@Cara I’m not due until may but my daughter also refuses frozen breast milk I think it may just taste different to her. I still nurse her at night and occasionally through the day but I know I’m not producing nearly as much as I was before and I noticed she was constantly acting hungry :(

@Raye wow I’m due May 25! But yes I still nurse too but my daughter is acting the same way…acts hungry. She even gets mad when they’re all empty and will slap my boob 😂.

@Cara omg I’m due the 27th! And same haha she gets so upset
