Everyone comments on how small our baby is!

Everywhere we go and no matter who we speak to, everyone comments on our girl being ‘tiny’ for her age and it’s starting to give me a complex! She’s plotting about 40th centile and has been like that since about 3 months. Weirdly though I haven’t seen a baby the same age as her that’s similar or smaller they are all much bigger, even a lot of the younger babies are bigger than her, so it does seem like we’re the outlier 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just need to have a moan really because I’m sick of the comments as if there’s something wrong with her or she’s being starved! Why do people feel the need to say it. 😤

Totally get it although I don't get it as much now, my girl was born on the 9th centile, dropped to 0.4 but has come back up to the 9th now 😁 40th centile sounds big to me!

We are on the other side - my baby boy is very big for his age, born 30th centile but has been 99th since about 6 weeks. I constantly get comments on how big he is or that he looks like 1 year old, etc. It is annoying because there's not much I can do about it. It's not like he's fat, he's just long and big, like big feet, wide shoulders etc. However it just shows that no matter what size the baby is, people feel the need to comment on being too big, or too small or too whatever. There's no pleasing everyone but I wish they just kept their comments to themselves.

My boy was born on the 9th centile and has stayed there ever since. He's 8 months and still wearing 3-6 months although the trousers are getting a bit short now but the waist on 6-9 months is massive x
