Potty training knickers nightmare lol
Hey all, potty training has been going really well and our LO would use the potty every single time and was telling us when she needed to go, until we introduced knickers. Now just keeps having accidents or not even telling us (looks me dead in the eye - "I weeing")
How long does this go on for? Am I doing something wrong? Any tips? What can we do to get her back to the confidence she is when naked from the waist down?
My best guess is with knickers on she just thinks it's nappies as she is so unphased/stubborn she will literally go wipe herself, tell us what happened and change into fresh knickers and clothes.. 🙄🫣

Id suggest reinforcing the first step and try a few days completely naked on the bottom half. And then you can look out for her queues and observe the behaviour. Then move back to no pants, for as long as you can
I was wondering this as she did days naked on the bottom and did amazing so wanted her as confident in herself as she can be but knickers are proving difficult lol. I've never had to potty train so I appreciate your advice c
Sounds like you’re doing the right thing. If you keep at it, you’ll get there 👍 They just take their own time to learn a new skill!

Have you tried commando? No knickers/pants, so just wearing trousers/leggings only. This gives slightly less comfort when wet, so this can work as a bit of a lesson to get to the potty next time.
