Never did with either of my girls. Soft sided car seat mirror so you can see them and carry on about your business
Still sitting in the back on journeys with my partner and baby is 11mo 😂
I use a mirror and only sit in back for longer journeys like hour
I sat in the back with him until he was around 1 ha 😆🙊 I still get in the back sometimes now if he’s grumpy so I can cheer him up 😅
I still sit back there sometimes, but I think around the one month mark is when I felt like she had enough head control to where I wasn't worried lol
I’m at 10 weeks and still sitting in the back 😂😂
I think I stopped when my girl was 10 months but stop when your ready 🤗
Also never did, just used a mirror as I was mostly driving myself.
8 months we switched to a different carseat (not the bucket style but still rear facing) and she tolerated the car way more
I think she was just a little under 1, but definitely by 12 months because we went on a road trip and my husband was like “No way I’m sitting up here all by myself !” lol
I only sat in the back on the way home from the hospital
I’m the driver and on my own so she has always been in the back on her own (I do have a mirror on her) unless we do a long journey which is when I will put her in the front instead (I have an isofix base in the back and no isofix in the front so it’s just easier that way. Once she comes out of her infant carrier I will probably just put her seat in the front
Still do this at 17 months 😅
Never did, had a mirror

Almost 7 months later and I still sit in the back lol 🤷🏽♀️
With my 1st child I sat in the back seat for a long time but she was born early with a Congenital Heart Defect. And then she had open heart surgery at 5 months. I was paranoid. With the 2nd kid, I drive home from the hospital with her in the back and that was it. I want to be up front with my husband lol.
Over a year before I stopped sitting in the back with mine 😂
With my first for about 2 weeks because the back seat was higher so easier to get in and out of. With our twins only on the trip home from hospital because we have 3 car seats in the back now!
I did on the way home from hospital that was the only time
My son is 2 and I still sometimes sit in the back with him when my husband drives, lol. We did try at one point to have me sit upfront. It didn’t go well. I can’t remember how old he was. So, I’ve just stayed back there. Just habit at this point and it’s easier should he need anything. Plus he likes when I sit with him. I’m about to have my second. I can’t for the life of me work how I can be back there with 2 car seats 🤣
I still do at almost 6 months and can’t see me stopping anytime soon even though she doesn’t really fuss in the car anymore but it’s just nice 😊
7 months and we still do It when we are both there
Never did, didn't realise this was a thing lol. I'm the driver so well I can't anyway haha
Never did, with either child. Obviously there are times I've had to if we have others on the car (either set of grandparents), but it's not a regular thing
I think only the first few dr visits which would be a week or 2 max.. but we have a camera (not sold anymore) but this one is similar & same brand.. https://a.co/d/efZANxD
We’ve never done it. Why are you doing it, are they unsettled? Or is it to check they’re sat right?
My daughter is 2 and I still do. She likes to chat, sing etc and the passenger seat is squished cos of the car seat so it's comfier for me
Omg I was back there forever, at least the first year, he hated the car.
@CSW great question, I think I just thought I should sit with him. And I want to but I don't want him getting so used to it that he needs me back there all the time!

I do it on long rides with my husband and our dogs. Otherwise my daughter usually cries and will get herself all worked up.
My kid is almost 3 and I still do it 🤣
I finally stopped at 13 months. 💛
I only ever rode home from the hospital next to them. I usually had to drive myself and them to their/my next appointments alone. And then once I had 1, 2, 3 and then 4 other kids in the car, there was no room for me in back even if someone else could have driven.
If it’s a long journey like a few hours etc then if I’m a passenger princess that day then I’ll sit in the back for peace of mind. However, if I’m driving alone or if it’s a quick trip then she’ll be fine in the back. We have a mirror and toys she can reach so that usually works. But for the most part she’s alright in the back. Unless it’s a grumpy day lol! But something I like to do, if I have to drive alone is try my absolute best to leave as early as possible. I’m talking to arrive to my destination (if it’s an appointment etc) at least 30mins before my time. It just allows me not to stress if she starts to cry or something and I have to pull over to sort her out. As we all know settling baby can take as long or as quick as needed so giving myself that time eases the stress of me watching the clock and worrying about being late. x
Never did, is this a thing?! We have a mirror so can see them when driving
