Getting rid of mum pouch but BF?

Hello guys! I am looking for peoples advice on breastfeeding and exercising, specifically to get rid of mum pouch(C-section mum) and maybe a little weight but not to fussed about the latter. Ive heard people say it affects your milk supply, is this right? If so is there any way to avoid that at all, as I’d love to get rid of my mum pouch? Thanks! 🥰

Omg in what way does it affect your milk supply?? I’ve been back at the gym for a week now lifting weights like I was before giving birth but I’ve never heard that it affects your milk supply?! I’m worried now 😟

@Dana please don’t worry I’m only asking the question as I’ve heard it can effect supply but unsure if it’s true that’s why I’m asking on here xx

Omg same! It affects your milk supply because gym and especially lifting requires lots of calories. And breastfeeding burns so many calories too.. you could start with yoga or walks..

From my experience, it does affect your milk supply. I started going to the gym and trying to eat lighter and healthier meals. Unfortunately because I wasn’t giving my body enough food and was burning calories at the gym, there was hardly anything left for my milk to produce!! It was so sad as I was enjoying working out but now I just try to do my 10,000 steps a day and still watch what I eat but making sure I’m still giving myself enough to keep up a supply too!
