Harvesting colostrum
Is anyone using a manual pump to do this as I’ve tried a couple of times hand expressing and it seems to just dribble and not get a flow of any kind

I only hand express, but to start with I had this same problem, but the more you do it the more it starts to flow a bit easier!! I started to do it a few times a day, but even now I get some out of my right breast but not my left xx
I’ve been trying since 37 weeks but had nothing until today! And only on my left side! I wouldn’t worry too much!! X
Try doing it in the morning & not the evening.

I have only hand express as that's what's recommended by the NHS. With my first baby It took over a week to get something to collect. That's very normal.
