You can go to Walmart and they have a lactation section I used the pills and gummies. Drink lots of water and body armor.
What pump are you using? Make sure you have the right flange size. And make sure you’re hydrating!
I was making around 2 oz when my son was your daughters age. But what helped was a lot of water, body armors and liquid IV.
@Sarah she just turn 7weeks today and I'm doing both
so, the amount that you pump isn't a good indicator of how much you're making, because baby is more effective at removing milk than a pump is. so, while you're only getting 2oz pumped, baby is likely getting more! another thing to keep in mind is that the best way to increase your supply is to increase your demand. this means putting baby to the breast often, pumping after nursing, and power pumping. your body is continuously making milk, so if you are removing more of it more frequently, then it's telling your body to increase production.
supplements and things are fine, but don't give you a long term increase. the most crucial things are removing milk frequently, getting enough calories, and hydration. your supply has also started to regulate by this point so you won't be producing as much as you were when it first came in. you're doing a great job!
Listen….the girls will say to buy pills, shakes, cookies and so on. But it’s alllll supply and demand. Pump a lot. I was excessively breastfeeding for 2 years and it’s all because I listen to the professionals. 1) drink a lot of water. I cut out soda and I naturally don’t drink alcohol or coffee 2) I pumped like I was feeding 2 babies. So my son would feed on both boobs. Then I would hook on to a pump and get whatever was left. I woke up at night to pump too, even if I knew baby wasn’t hungry. I kept my nipples stimulated. I created a hardy freezer stash for emergencies (which I occasionally used). 3) my professional told me to eat a lot as breastfeeding makes you hungry but try to eat good foods to sustain yourself. I ate a lot of healthy fats (salmon, nuts and avocados) but don’t get me wrong. Indulged in hot Cheetos and ice cream and candy and fried foods too. 4) I (without professional advice) made the choice to feed on demand. No meal time schedules. 24/7 open bar.
@S. annalese 👏👏
Oat meal, Liquid IV and at least 30 min exercise every day (walk) . It worked for me
