I was at the obgyn office today to consult about trying to conceive for a second baby. However, when I left the urine sample (that is a usual routine for any kind of consultation) and the result came negative for pregnancy.

I am 8 days away from my period , so are we out for this month?💔 how effective are the tests in obgyn office to detect the earliest positive?

You wouldn't expect a positive urine test 8 days before your missed period. Even at the OB

I’d say test again 5 days until your period or wait until you’re late

I had a negative BLOOD test in the ER last week Wednesday had baby danced all month but the last time was the Sunday before that. This past Wednesday (so exactly a week from the negative blood test) I got a positive urine test with no more baby dancing since then. So I’d still baby dance away! And not give up hope!

Yeah you never know! We had stopped trying and just celebrated a vacation we were going on within days. This was about the same time as you 8 or so days before my period. Boom pregnant with my now 2 yr old.

That's way too early for a positive even w blood test. I'd say disregard completely.
