Biting through nipples and refusing milk

I need help! I have twins, they will be 2 on Nov 30th. My daughter has been biting through every single kind of sippy cup type nipple out there. She bit the straw type ones in half 🥴. Both my daughter and my son have been refusing their milk. My son will drink his if we let him take it to bed, she sometimes will. We’ve been trying to ween them off of that since finding out how bad it is for their teeth. Oops. Anyways, they’re refusing their milk as it is and I have tried giving them hard spout sippy cups and they hate them. Has anyone been through anything similar/ have any tips? First time mom, I have the kids and dog during the day while my husband works and he has them at night while I work. Schedules are busy to say the least.

My son also bites through his! When I catch him nibbling on the cups, I give him a (brand new, washed) dog toy. It sounds crazy but he loves chewing on it. It's kind of like a bumpy rubber stick with a spiky/bumpy ball on each end. It's for puppies/small dogs and a not too soft/not too hard rubber. He once stole my parents dogs toy and chewed on it, so we bought him his own. He's usually only chewing whenever he is teething, so it works 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hahahahah that is great! I can definitely see that working. I’ll look grab one the next time I’m in the grocery store.

Girl, you gave me a heart attack reading that title 😂😅 My son used a silicone teether that he loved! https://a.co/d/8DdmiLJ

Costco sells a pack of reduce brand tumbler straw cups . My son was biting through everything and those seemed to work well.

@Megan 🤣 sorry. They used to love those. We had the “mia” and my son would chew on it constantly but now anything like that they play with for 5 seconds and toss. My daughter is just absolutely brutal with sippy cup/ bottle nipples. We have milk *everywhere* because she bites through them all and they all leak. It seems silly to me to buy replacements knowing it’s just going to happen again so I’m hoping to find a type of cup they enjoy and can’t bite through.

@Chantal we have them! They do love those and so far have not been able to destroy the straws. Sadly they won’t take their milk in those. I would love to just give them an open cup of it with their meals but my kids are little devils that will look you in the eye, smile, and dump it in 2 seconds flat lol.
