Has anyone separated from baby’s dad?
I want to leave my partner (for many reasons) but I can’t help but feel I’m leaving my baby aswell. I know I shouldn’t stay in a relationship because of our son, but I can’t even imagine going a day without seeing him on a weekly basis. It will kill me. Help?

@Sarah how I read it was she couldn’t imagine having to leave her baby with the father for 2/3 days in the week (every week) when they have set days.
@Sarah oh god no! I just mean having to spend time with him separately, I see him every hour of every day, so the thought of say splitting weekends or overnights during the week I just don’t see how I could cope. I of course don’t want him or his dad to lose time with each other either, it’s just thought of not being allowed to see my own baby whenever I want is just crippling to me

Hello, sorry to hear this is happening… Do you mean you would leave your baby in full care of his father? Or have I read that wrong. Are you able to seperate (if that’s right for you) but live close to the dad and work out a Co parenting schedule? X
