Fruit

My girl is on a fruit strike at home right now. What are some creative ways that I can incorporate fruits into meals without them just being there. Like today she had mashed strawberries in her weetabix but other ideas would be helpful.

Smoothies - milk shakes??

Banana sandwich

Smoothies are a big hit for my toddler. Homemade jam or applesauces (I make mine in the crockpot- just throw it all in and cook then blend with an immersion blender). If she likes yogurt or cottage cheese you could squish the fruit up and mix it into that. Sometimes even serving it in a different container than normal can help too. Or cutting it up in a new way.

You can always add certain fruits to her water. Just put them in the bottle with water shake it a bunch to help disperse it. If her seeing them is a problem, you can always have a container of it made up and just pour water from it (leaving the pieces of fruit out, but she’ll get the flavor and such in the water still.

@danielle she doesn’t really like bananas. Could you do it with other fruits?

@Poppie yes - banana sandwich is a bit of a classic lol but I’m sure you can mix it up

You could do cream cheese and strawberries on a bagel perhaps?
