Hitting Stage

I'm not sure if it's our little boy who does this. He keeps hitting smacking us when he doesn't get what he wants. I'm hoping it's just phase- as I'm not trying not to react to him.

My daughter is doing this. It's driving me nuts. Following for advice

My 18 month old is the same, I just put him down or ignore him like you say, he’s really starting to strop

Same here. We're doing what @Tiffany says ignore, put down and not giving in. Unless he gets tired it's starting to get less

My boy was doing this about a month ago and has stopped now I just ignored him or put him down & said no, now he throws himself back instead😂 x

My daughter is doing this, but is slowly learning that she is not allowed, it is just a phase ❤️

Mines smacking me for the crack at the moment and she thinks its funny. How longs this phase last😫🙈

we tell him no, gentle hands please and then ask for high five so that he can get the hitting out in a constructive way x
