Vitamin D is Vitamin D, so just go online and buy whichever are cheapest 😊
I also found out when the health visitor visited which was like 2 weeks postpartum so nothing to worry about. I use this one https://amzn.eu/d/4wKy74O and it’s in boots too

It's worth just checking dosage/how it's given, some of them are just a drop and easy to give and some want you to give 0.5ml and are a bit of a faff
Our pediatrician only mentioned it a few weeks later and my son was 6 weeks premature. The vitamin d drops actually seemed to make him sick so we stopped after less than a week. He's 2.5 and healthy
Thanks so much for the reassurance everyone. I’ve ordered some drops so I can start tomorrow 😌
Oh god my baby’s 4 months and never done this and EBF
I’ve heard for ebf, if the mum has enough vitamin d in her diet (or high dose supplement), some can pass to the baby. But they’re usually okay for iron and vitamin d the first 6 months.
@Sando nhs says it’s not enough bc breast milk is quite low in fat and vit d is fat soluble so it’s simply not reliable to just trust that enough vit d will pass through, and it’s so important for bone and teeth development (and may I add, immune system!!) that it’s not worth the risk
@Benedetta I also use this one and it’s really good
Dont worry too much as long as you start now it’s ok!!! It’s pretty recent advice so it’s not like a life or death situation. I made the mistake of buying one that is 1ml which is actually a lot so i have to put it in a breast milk bottle, so make sure to find the one that is only one drop.
