They normally check the heartbeat at this appointment too so you get to hear it again 🥰🥰
@Rebecca I think this depends on area as we don’t get that till 28 weeks here (24/5 if it’s your first though as you get an extra appointment)
@Katie oh really? That’s a bit rubbish. I’m in Poole as is Fi so assumed she would get the same x
@Rebecca ahh we are dorch and then community midwives so she probably will then 😊 us second time mums get left alone for 12 weeks other than the 20 week scan 😂

@Katie fair enough, it’s crazy how different it can be when we are not that far apart. 😱
I had all usual monitoring (blood pressure, oxygen check thing😂) they asked me the mental health questions, safe at home etc and then checked baby’s heartbeat!x
Did anyone have a follow up blood test? I've had low iron so wondered when it's checked again
@Fi I’ve always been given separate appointments for bloods! Never been taken at the midwife! Also have had low iron!x
From what I can remember it was just a wee dip and blood pressure check and then the usual mental health questions and just seeing how you are in general x
