We don’t know the gender but we have an agreement that I chose the girls names and he chooses the boys names
But he doesn’t like one of my girls names but it’s my grans name 🙃 he’s not dead against it he just doesn’t like it
So I’m half and half whether to use it
(I do think I’ve made this post/similar before but that was before my partner told me he didn’t like my grans name so idk whether to use it or chose something else but number 2 on my list is Lila)

I always think kids should get their own first name but middle names can be after relatives. Lila Jessie is pretty cute!

My partner decided the first name for ours if it’s a girl and then we’ve gone with his mums name as middle name to remember her
You can compromise and use jessie as the middle name. Lila Jessie is cute
I’ve voted Riley as that’s my 8mo daughters name and we love it 🥰
We have used family names as middle names for the kids and given them their own first name.

You could maybe use Jessica as a middle name? To still honour your gran but love all your name ideas🩷
