Headaches?

My toddler has been complaining about headaches for a while and I've just been chalking it up to the fact we had covid, then a head cold, and the pressure changes have been rough. But now he's starting to complain about things being too loud and covering his ears, he's complained about his sound machine two nights in a row when he's never had an issue with it. Should I bring him to the pediatrician? I don't know what they'd be able to do.. I don't want to keep giving him Tylenol all the time but I feel bad that his head has been bothering him for over a month now 😩

Poor little guy. I wonder if he has an ear infection. Headaches can be a symptom. I would take him to the pediatrician to get checked out. Hugs mama. ❤️

@Nadia he hasn't shown any other symptoms of an ear infection 😩 no fever or decreased appetite, he hasn't said anything about his ears hurting at all 😩 i was thinking possibly an ear infection but nothing points to it being that 😩

I would definitely bring it up to the pediatrician and see what they recommend

I would def take him in. Are you opposed to taking him to a Chiro? I know some are so I don’t want to suggest if you are. Have they ever worried about head shape related to craniosynostosis? Just trying think of things that could cause one so little to have a headache/sensitivity to noise.

@Amanda we all see a chiropractor every 2 weeks or so! He was a preemie so he had extra attention as a baby, they weren't ever worried about his head shape or anything. We're trying so allergy medicine right now in case it's allergy related. If that doesn't seem to help, I'm definitely calling his pediatrician

@Annika poor guy. Hope he finds some relief soon. He’s so lucky to have you doing all you can to help him❤️

@Amanda thank you 🥹 I feel so bad because he says it every day but he also only really says it when he's tired/before naptime and bedtime so I don't know if it's a stalling thing or if somethings actually wrong 😭
