You have to wash it everytime and starlize it as well, I have like 12 bottles so I probably use them once.

I only do a rinse if it's been used less than 20min ago and he wants more, otherwise wash every time

Wash and sterilize each time if they are new born after newborn stage I just wash after each use

Unpopular opinion: for my one year old, if the milk is drunk in less than 30 minutes, I’ll put it back in the fridge. For newborns the rules are much stricter.

Are we talking cows milk or formula bottles ?

Formula - once even if it's only had a bit out of it, if it's been more than an hour made it's emptied washed and sterilsed. Cows milk - I'll put it in the fridge unless he's been sat out for over an hour as I don't want the milk to go bad and then use that again but after the second time even if it was still only a sip I'll empty and wash it

If it’s formula i always used a clean sterilised bottle each time.. now my child’s off formula if he wants extra milk I’ll just top it up but if it’s been longer than 2 hours I’ll clean it and add more milk.

Newborns I wash every time. Once they go to cows milk I'll use the same bottle/cup all day as long as it goes in the fridge between uses

I washed and sterilised after every feed. I had about 10 bottles so just did it once a day

I wash and sterilize every bottle after use. Its smelly if it’s left out too long 🤢 I wouldn’t drink it lol

Is it different with breastmilk?

I assume breast milk is different because it isn’t pasteurized to kill off bacteria unlike cows milk which usually is

Breastmilk gets smelly after a while too like after 4 hours. Like if you get milk stains on your shirt, it smells like spoiled milk

Water bottle we will leave out until drunk then rinse out and refill and wash properly at the end of the day. Milk wash (and sterilise - if BM or formula) after every bottle, or after 1hr of the bottle first being drank from, even if not finished.
