Just try to steer clear of the topic to avoid stress for yourself and name the baby what you want and at the end of the day they’ll learn to love the name once they associate it with a baby they love! And for future children maybe consider not telling them the name until after you have the baby to avoid input!
@Laurel that’s very fair, it’s just the first grand baby on both sides so they’ve been all over about everythiinnggg but I’m very against changing the name just bc they don’t like it when hubs and i have already decided that’s the one

I definitely wouldn’t change the name if you both love it! We aren’t telling my in-laws our second babies name until we have her because with our first they kept trying to get us to name him Robert because it’s a family name and we are just not discussing it this time because we don’t want their input 😅
just ignore her… especially if you both love the name. She had her kids she named them
Pick a new name but don’t tell them until the baby arrives. Or just use Salem
@Anna o yes, this. We don't discuss names with people because we don't want comments. In the end, we get to decide! And once it's on the birth certificate, no one can change it 😝
I kept my daughter’s name a secret until just she was born for this exact reason! Ignore them! If it feels right, it feels right 🥰💗
