I know who Wallis Simpson is but I didn’t put two and two together when I first read it until you mentioned it and even then I was like meh she’s hardly talked about now. Times have moved on. I just thought it was unusual at first and was intrigued why. I think it will be lovely to honour your brother.

Definitely makes me think of Wallis Simpson but of course I don’t know your brother. And As a middle name it’s no problem anyway because no one will really hear it unless you tell them and you can say it’s after your brother (or she can when she’s older) also even if someone’s first name was Wallis, I’d think of Wallis Simpson but I wouldn’t think they were named after Wallis Simpson (that would be pretty random lol) I’d just think they liked the sound of that name

I have never heard of her, just googled her.. I guess I should have heard of her because I’m from the uk but I haven’t. To be honest even if I had heard of her I wouldn’t think anything bad of the name, there’s plenty of names out there associated with not so great people but what does that mean? Those names are also associated with other nice normal people.. I think it’s quite a cool middle name and nice to honour your brother
