@Alicia Yes I’ve tried giving her a preloaded spoon but she just throws it 😅
@Chloe ours did a bit of throwing too - (still does when she’s had enough), I tried to help guide the spoon into her mouth with her holding it, and when it happened a couple of times and she ate some I was just super happy and over the top excited that I think she wanted to keep doing it 😄
@Alicia Thanks I will keep trying with the spoon
@Chloe practice with a spoon with no food on? We gave our LO one to play with before she started food so she was more accustomed to the spoon. She got most of the throwing out her system before she had it loaded with food.
@Melissa yeah she likes to use the spoon to teeth but always puts the wrong end in her mouth 😂
You’ve probably already tried but have you offered her a spoon? Our little girl is also very independent and doesn’t like us feeding her. It took a week or two but eventually she seems to have gotten the hang of putting the spoon in her mouth if we leave it on the tray or hand it to her mid air. We have to refill it for her each time though. A lot still dribbles out but I think she is swallowing a bit!
