Formula

Those with second baby’s on the way and planning to bottle feed. (Had a traumatic experience BF with my first) what formula are you planning on using with your second? My LG was on Aptamil for 3/4 months, we then changed to HIP organic after a few issues but generally it worked really well, but i’m just curious about other brands such as Cow and Gate, Kendamil etc.. I know Kendamil is so hard to get hold off these days and it really hard to get of the shelves when there is a shortage so this is what is putting me off. Anyone else?

My little boy had hip organic after a few weeks of me expressing but he had a cows milk allergy so was moved to an aptamil prescription milk. I wanted to try kendamill this time as only hear good things but my husband says aptamil is available in more places so we might go with that one and see how we get on 🤞🏻

We started with hip with my first and swapped to Kendamil and just got their monthly delivery subscription that they do on the their website. So we never struggled to get it. Kendamil milk smells so good compared to other formulas! Our little one loved it. Xx

@Natalie that’s good to know about the subscription! Did they always deliver it, even when the shops had s shortage of it? X

We used cow and gate (combi fed until 9 months then she had formula alone). No plans to change this time but the main reason we used it was because that's what we were given in hospital so will see what happens this time. 😊

My kids are different. My first I have him sma but he had bad reflux so swapped to aptamil. My second I went straight onto cow and gate, and plan to use it again with my 3rd. I buy the boxes rather than the tubs as you get a lot more for just a small price so not sure if your prices are the same but a 800g tub costs £10.50, where as a box and you just buy your own kind of tub costs £12 for 1.2kg. I tried to breast feed but haven’t ever been able to

@Natalie What was the reason your moved from Hip to Kendamil if you don’t mind me asking? I know ingredients are different, I swapped out from Aptamil as little one wasn’t settling on it and just seemed really uncomfortable. So many people i’ve spoken to have said the same! X

@Tiffany Yes it certainly is the cheaper one on the market I think, a friend of mine really recommended Gow and Gate!
