@Julie I had my 2nd ectopic in July, I want a baby to take home too 😵💫. I’m beyond frustrated 😩.
Hey hun, I feel your pain, I had an ectopic in 2017 and just never conceived since, I'm currently going through my second cycle of ivf 🥺 It's so wierd that we're struggling when we still have that one tube doing its job. I felt the same, like there was just no one who understood or could help, give advice. I would get tested for AMH and all other factors, there are different ways like iui and ivf, also I had my remaining tube checked, it's called hsg to see if there's any blockages. Im always here if you need a chat x
@Sammy ❤️ I’ve been to a fertility clinic they said everything looks good. They said I can’t have a HSG test because I’ve only got one tube. Can’t afford ivf so it’s naturally or nothing. Just frustrated, if I want help I need to pay for it. But I never wanted 2 ectopic pregnancies. I had 2 kids before my ectopics no problem. It’s so frustrating.
It's so hard I would have been 36 weeks today. I'm waiting for an appointment with my doctor to ask for some check-ups before I think about getting pregnant again
@Julie that’s a good plan. I went to the fertility clinic at hospital and they said everything is good. Don’t know how long I can take the disappointed every month 😞. I’m getting depressed 😔.
I had an 2 ectopic as well. One was when I was younger and May of this year which a tube got removed. I fell pregnant again this month but I started bleeding like a period at 6 weeks. I’m freaking out. I just can’t go though another ectopic again, I rather have a natural miscarriage but best scenario is if the bleeding was nothing to worry about and baby is fine. I find out soon. I’m sorry you’re going through this, all my friends also fell pregnant within 4 months while it took me a year before getting my second ectopic but don’t give up. I believe in you.
@Angela I had one last year and in July this year, I asked for tube removal this time, if I got rid of the bad tube maybe I’ll be okay next time. Have you had an early scan to see how the pregnancy is progressing? I hope it’s not ectopic. I can’t imagine having 3 that would be cruel. It’s just really unfair. And I see women worrying about miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Try going through 2 ectopics and see how you feel mentally after, it’s the worst experience of my life.
I’ve had 2 ectopic pregnancies. It’s the scariest thing. Nov 2023 I had my left tube removed and then I had another in Mar this year but that pregnancy ended on its own. I’ve since had 2 chemical pregnancies. It’s heartbreaking!!! TTC is so hard
@Becky have you been to a fertility clinic? Apart from only having one tube they said I’m okay to try again. I’m Absolutely terrified, but the thought of never having another baby makes me feel sad 😔 😞.
The fertility clinic won’t take a referral unless you have had 3 or more chemicals/miscarriages. They don’t count the 2 ectopic pregnancies as they are classed as a pregnancy in the wrong location. It’s so frustrating!!! But it gives me a little hope that I can get pregnant with one tube…just need help it getting it to stick! How long ago was your surgery?
@Becky thats strange because they counted my ectopics as losses , but they can’t really do anything to help me, because I have 2 kids they won’t give me IVF either. I had my tube removed in July. I’m not giving up yet, but I’m really frustrated.
I had ectopic and my tube removed in 2005 and went on to have children in 2011 and 2013 with no problems. It will happen when you least expect it and sending you positive baby dust
@Jennifer Thanks I’m just more concerned that I don’t have time, I’m 36 and my partner is 40. I was hoping I’d have a baby this year but I’m disappointed again 😞.
Just want to post here as I know how helpless it can feel, I've had 3 ectopic pregnancies 1 treated with surgery and tube removed, 2nd 2 x doses of methotrexate and the 3rd resolved by itself. After the 2nd and 3rd I had a HSG test and both times my remaining tube was "open" I was told when I had the first with surgery everything looked pristine and it was bad luck. The NHS wouldn't help as they said I can get pregnant, however after the 3rd I researched vitamins and alternative therapies and went to accupuncture and had Chinese medicine for about 7 months along with fertility abdominal massage we were due to start IVF and found out I was pregnant naturally that week and after 3 ectopic it was in the right place - I am currently 29 weeks pregnant!

@Hannah That’s amazing, thank you for sharing your story, after 2 ectopic pregnancies it feels impossible, my partner said if it’s another ectopic he won’t try again, so I’m really hoping I’ll be okay this time. But who knows.
I had ectopic pregnancy in may, and I feel if I get pregnant again at some point, I want it to go well and bring home a baby. I just dont want to go through all the pain again
