Water breaking or Contractions first ?

Hi girls x I just wanted to ask if your contractions started first or your water broke and then the contractions started. I know it can be different for everyone but just wanted to read some experiences x

Hello, I had contractions first for about 15hrs and my water broke just couple of hrs before I gave birth.. I was expecting it the other way round like in movies but it was nothing like it 🙈 x

Waters broke and contractions started about 12 hours later. Baby was born 12 hours after contractions began :)

My waters were in 2 parts, either side of baby’s head so one lot went 5 hours into contractions, then the second lot had to be popped by the midwife because my labour was slowing x

Contractions first with my son

contractions started, and went into labour, got to 6cm and my waters still didn’t break and the midwife had to break them for me 🥲

My front waters went then I had to go into hospital after 24 hours because contractions hadn’t started, they checked me to see how dilated I was in preparation for induction and I was 9cm dilated 😂. Turns out I’d had a silent labour. I got to 10cm dilated still with no contractions, then my back waters broke and I had a handful of contractions, 4 pushes and my lo was here.

My waters broke at 6am and I didn’t get contractions until 8pm! It was very frustrating I just wanted to get going. Praying if we go again for another baby that it happens the other way round next time x

Contractions and my water never broke 😊 I lost mucus plug 12 hours into labor. But I promise you, you will know when the labor begins!

Contractions start first, water broke in the hospital

One of each. My first started with contractions. My second started with my waters going. Contractions first is far less painful!

Labour pains what do the feel like

Am really struggling this evening to tell if am in early labour or not! I’m actually booked in for induction tomorrow m.
I’ve had baby’s before but only suffered back labour never pains in the belly but tonight am having pains across the front low down lasting a good few seconds and like shooting pain up my vag, my whole belly goes solid during the time and it actually takes my breath and I can’t move until it passes braxton hicks or start of Labour?

Birthday

So idk if this would be considered bd drama, but he just texted me “happy birthday” my birthday isn’t until April 20th, we’ve known each other since 2024. And I just feel a little sad that he doesn’t know my birthday. Should I appreciate that he tried? Or be upset that after all this time he still doesn’t know my birthday?

Changed due date

Anyone had their date change at 12 weeks scan?

I used my last period and also fully tracked ovulation, I had a due date Oct 10.

In my 12 week scan they said Oct 15

Now I don’t know which to use as I know the 12 week scan can place things wrong due to the tiniest millimetre off measurement

What did others go by and what was accurate?

Second baby here!

Rolling?

Baby girl is 6 months old. 7 months on the 23rd. She’s not rolling yet. Doesn’t seem like she’s interested? She’ll arch her back and turn her body over; kinda like rolling but doesn’t. Just wondering if any other moms are in the same boat? She sits on her own really well but still needs support so she doesn’t fall back. Is this considered behind? 😅

Has anyone ever had a cerclage removal? I am scheduled to get my cerclage removed at 36wks. I am wondering how labor will progress, what I should I expect. Before this I had a severely shorten cervix with funneling, 1cm dilated.

I am kind of nervous not sure what to expect. I’m 32wks tomorrow.
