TMI but can we please talk 💩 🙈

My little boy is 20 weeks, he's predominantly breastfed but has a few bottles of formula each week. He's always had a typical baby runny poop, however he had one today that had the usual consistency/colour but also areas that had more texture/lumpy. Just wondering if this seems normal? Thank you!

Hi, sounds like still normal. Did you take a photo of it?

Has he had more formula the last day or two? Formula can change their poo, especially if they aren't overly used to it.

Formula poos can be a little more lumpy, so this sounds normal

Thanks all! I did take a photo in case I need to show the health visitor etc. We've been combi feeding for weeks now and it's always had the same runny consistency, this is the first time it's had any texture but he hadn't had formula for quite a few days! X

@Chelsea if you want share the photo in here for information purposes. Might be useful for other mums to see as well ☺️ I’ve been combi feeding as well, but opposite to you. Predominantly formula and rest breastmilk so I’ve seen a huge variety of different colours and textures of poops from my daughter. And I believe all due to how much of each different milks she had on the previous day. Plus they are getting older. The digestive system is also working differently now I believe ☺️
