Sleeping Positions

My son sleeps in a bassinet beside my bed. I place him in his back. He moves around so much in his sleep though, that he spins himself sideways. He like kind of gets stuck, like think Austin powers getting the cart stuck trying to turn it around. Any advice on how to stop that? He like gets his head kinked. See picture. I did buy a sleeping wedge for him, but like he still lifts his legs and moves so much that he wiggles out of that and still spins. I’m just worried about him hurting himself.

Like, sometimes when he spins around or pushes himself up to the top of the bassinet, he like gets his head all turned and kinked backwards. And it wakes him up, I’m assuming because he is uncomfortable.

My son does that too, I have no ideas but if someone else does I'll try it too

What if you look into round baby bassinets/cribs? I think then the chances will be lower of him hurting himself. But I also think he will stop moving that much when he gets a bit older and heavier. That was the case with my son

Yeah I might have to look into that. Just makes for a rough night. I feel like that’s why he wakes up so frequent still is he gets himself jammed up. He’s 4 months old, weighs 13 pounds. Has always just been tiny and non stop moves. Even while I was pregnant
