Looking for advice
I need to go back to work but I can’t find daycare for my son since he doesn’t have vaccines. I’m delaying them due to family medical history. Idk what to do

I think you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere. Even my family daycare requires vaccines. You also won’t get any childcare subsidy benefits if he isn’t up to date
@Trish that depends on where the person posting lives. Where I am, there are exemptions for religious and medical reasonings for delaying or not vaccinating, but not all places will accept the exemptions
@Kai unfortunately I’m in California, we plan to leave but I want to finish school first

Have you spoken with the daycare(s) you're looking at about why the vaccines are delayed? Usually, with medical reasoning and depending on age, they're able to work with you, though not all places will.
