Baby still not laughing 😕

We’ve only had a few proper laughs. Smiles constantly but laughs are far and few between!

We get some laughs very randomly, some days he’ll be ticklish for like 1 minute and we get a little laugh! But he’s not laughing consistently x

Yeh same, mine i have to proper tickle her and i get a slight giggle then she stops. Shes not giving her giggles up as easy as my 1st did xxx

My first was like this. Gave me smiles but never really laughed at all, just sometimes the odd giggle. This baby is way more smiley and laughs more - they all do their own thing! x

My first was like this, they say you have talkers and walkers. The ones that are sociable laughing smiling etc take longer to do their motor milestones as their energy is being directed towards being sociable. The ones that barely smile do their motor skills quicker. This was definitely the case for my 2 boys, my guest would hardly give a smile, you had to work so hard to get one and found specific things funny so we'd do that one thing over and over, for example he found it hilarious even you tried to catch something and missed. Only thing that made him laugh for months. But when he got to 9 months and he understood the command of "smile" he would give smiles and freely laugh. I wouldn't worry, he'll do it eventually. My first is now 4 and he has the cheekiest smile and wholesome laugh.
