Polite rant about people moaning about their baby not walking or standing yet!!

Can I just remind you that on average, the typical baby starts walking at 14 months!! I’ve seen several posts about people being worried about their October 2023 babies not walking yet! I’m sure your baby will be soon, they haven’t even got to the average age yet. Stop comparing, it’s not fair on yourself or on your baby. They will walk when they’re ready and I’m sure they’re excelling in other areas (and if they’re not then that’s fine too). You panicking also makes others panic too if their baby isn’t walking and it’s so unnecessary and negative. ❤️

Agree!

1000% they will all get there at some point, none of adults go around comparing when we started walking 😅

Yesss. It’s the classic social media thing - people love to post the highlights, so you gets lots of proud mums showing off their early walkers which can result in other mums worrying. Definitely no need to worry at 12/13m!
