No vaccination is 1000%.
How does this come up.. are ppl just nonchalantly asking, are your kids vaccinated ? Or if it comes up in conversation ppl are just like oh we can't hang out anymore ?
@Drew my kid is vaxed, but I've been asked a couple of times and when I answer they just kinda laugh it off saying "oh few, thought I'd have to cut you off" or something along those lines, and I see it on this app a lot too.
Oh wow that's crazy I mean my kids are vaccinated but I wouldn't ask someone that nor do.i care what someone chooses for their children or family
Vaccinations are not 100% effective. People who are unvaccinated are more likely to catch and spread the disease. If you are vaccinated your risk of catching it is lower but not zero.
Who asks these questions? When do you ask it, announce as you walk into the soft play
My children aren’t vaxed and they don’t attend school or daycares but they do have several classes that they attend weekly like Tinkergarten , swimming , soccer , parkour and etc and I’ve never been asked about my kids vaccine status by anyone here. Not even for any of the classes that they’re enrolled into. I only ever hear this stuff on this app not in real life …but I will say that when I’ve heard responses from others before on this app who have shared this sentiment it was somewhere along the lines of it being done to protect the kids who aren’t vaccinated and not for their kids who are vaccinated
I ask parents if their child is vaccinated because my son has an auto-immune disorder that triggered parry-romberg syndrome. If they don’t vax, we don’t hang out.
This article explains the issue really well so I’ll just leave this here: https://www.wired.com/2015/01/vaccinated-people-get-measles-disneyland-blame-unvaccinated/
