Donating breast milk

Has anyone got any experience in donating breast milk? What’s the process etc? I’ve got a bit of an oversupply and it’s getting to the point half my fridge is breast milk and seems to be getting more and wee guy isn’t gonna be able to keep up, he eats a lot (like 1.2k+ per day at 8 weeks) but I’ve got 1.2k in the freezer and 1.5k in the fridge it’s ridiculous🤣 my partner doesn’t know where to put the food and it’s getting a bit stressful cause I don’t want to have to throw any out but we don’t have the space and some of it is gonna end up going out of date😬😢

You can donate it to neonatal units, but I just donated mine though the Facebook group 'human milk 4 human babies' someone's baby was failing thrive and they came and collected it from the house.

I donate to the Scottish Milk Bank. They're so incredibly helpful.

Thank you so much for considering this--my son had donor milk in the NICU and Special Care for two weeks as I had low supply due to my health. It was so good to know he was getting EBM. The screening form for the Scottish Donor Milk Bank is here: https://www.nhsggc.scot/hospitals-services/services-a-to-z/milk-bank-scotland/
