Umbilical Cord
Hello all,
My little one is 21 days today. His cord still hasn’t fallen - we were told it can take longer than usual as he had to have antibiotics at the hospital.
We are seeing the midwife tomorrow but I am getting a tad worried being me. Anyone still waiting for theirs to drop?

My firstborns fell off really late!
My son's fell at 23 days, so you still have time! Is it showing any signs of coming off? His you could see it was slowly coming off in the days before. As long as it looks clean and not infected, don't worry. Also my son didn't have antibiotics or anything.
@Giorgia some tiny black dry bits were falling off. Doesn’t look infected or anything although I will keep an eye
@Zeynep yep, same happened to him! It will come off eventually
We had the same thing due to antibiotics. It fell off eventually just took a while x

My son’s fell at 6 days but my daughter (who is now 2) fell on day 21. Wouldn’t worry. She’s absolutely fine 😆 xx
