Pumped breast milk

So my LG is 11 months old, 9 months corrected as she was born 8 weeks early. Since 5 months (3m corrected), she’s refused to breastfeed so I’ve pumped all milk for her. She currently has 5oz of breast milk in a morning feed, then she’ll have breakfast, snack, dinner, snack, tea and then another 5oz bottle of breastmilk before bed. She has water to hand all day and drinks approx 5-9oz. Is she getting enough? She was born at 1.5kg and now weighs 8.6kg.

Is she having plenty of wet and dirty nappies and gaining weight following her centile curve? If so she’s getting enough x

@Yasmin yes she does, plenty! I just see other posts on here of babies the same age having lots more milk than she is and wondered if I needed to give her more- although she dropped the daytime bottle herself and won’t take more milk morn/eve! Xx

@Emma if they’re formula fed then it’s entirely different. You don’t increase the volume of breastmilk as it’s perfectly tailored to your baby unlike formula where you need to up the oz as baby grows to ensure it still has the same nutritional value. Every baby is so different and what you’re doing sounds like it’s perfect for your little one 😊 x

It sounds exactly right and Yasmin is right, you don’t need to increase the volume of breastmilk during bottle feeds x

@Yasmin thank you so much for the reassurance x

Also, you are AMAZING pumping for such a long time ❤️ well done you
