Feeding constantly

Baby is coming up to 8 weeks and still constantly breastfeeding, like every hour. Anyone else in the same position? I give her a couple of bottles of formula to give myself a break but it doesn’t satisfy her either. I suspect she feeds for comfort a lot of the time but just cries constantly if I don’t put her on me.

Exactly the same position! Every hour and baby is 9 weeks xx

Yep me too! Sometimes more than once in an hour…

I'm the same but it mainly happens in the afternoon/evening! My HV said that babies go through a growth spurt at about 8 weeks so it may be that!

Same situation here, my baby is 8 weeks as well ! I started giving 150 mls of formula in the afternoon (once a day). I also express my milk and try to give 150mls of mine during the day as well. It seems to be working for her at the moment

It’s very normal for baby’s to feed often. They have small stomachs so they fill easily and empty quickly.

We were told growth spurt too, and 2 days later her legs have shot out and we're finally into the next size up clothes. Was 36 hours of continuous feeding but ravenous still

Not breastfeeding so can’t comment on that but my nearly 9 week old baby is drinking so much formula through the day and night. Up a lot through the night still 😩
