Would you change daycares or give them another chance?

My daughter has an egg allergy, and today for lunch, her daycare gave her corn dogs, which has eggs in the batter. She could be outgrowing the allergy, but our pediatrician recommended waiting until 2 to reintroduce it. What if she had had a severe reaction? They've been okay for the most part, but we've had a few other issues come up. They've been pretty good about resolving things, but this is could have been so so bad and I feel like I've lost trust. Would you start looking for a new daycare?

I would say if you can’t trust them then to start looking for a different daycare

I would definitely start looking for a new daycare.

This would be a deal breaker for me, I’d be looking elsewhere immediately (if in UK id also report to the governing body, this *could* lead to the death of a child)

Depending on the other issues that came up, I’d give them another chance. Yes it is a scary incident that could have been worse but maybe consider sending your daughter with snacks/lunch? My daughter has a milk allergy and I have to provide the daycare with things for her. Just my opinion. It was such a hard struggle to find a daycare that we liked and had availability and I’m thankful for the one we have now (it hasn’t been all perfect) but my daughter loves it there and I wouldn’t want to try to transition her into a new atmosphere. But like I said, that’s my opinion

I wouldn’t give anyone a second chance in regard to my child’s health, safety and or well-being. Suppose she was severely allergic what then? Sorry my bad
