Buy the house or no?

Pros: Best school district around Plenty of space for kids to run Close to shopping Cute house, lots of storage Cons: Shares some land with the railroad company and has an outbuilding built on the railroad's land Has a deeply buried 10" gas pipeline close the house (not a danger issue as much as a property ownership issue since it has a 50 ft right away that touches the driveway)

Do you plan on this being your forever home? If so then I think it would be good based on the pros. If not maybe think about the reselling potential.

if you love the area and it's one of few or only options to get in there, go for it. Sharing land with railroad companies shouldn't be an issue unless you can touch their land from out your kitchen window.

Go for it if you like the house , if any reasons y don't like hopefully can get changed if possible

If its going to be noisy I'd say no but noise bothers me. Maybe also check when trains stop running? I'd wanna know if its going to interrupt nap or bed times

The fact its shared/ that close to a railroad is a deal breaker for me tbh. My sleep and my family's sleep is important to me and I know living that close.. You can kiss that goodbye. The rest is definitely important also but call me a priss but I just can't and won't do it. The nearest railroad to me is about 2 miles away and I still hear it occasionally but not enough to disrupt or disturb me thankfully.

I wouldn't. Especially due to sharing the land with the railroad company and the gas pipeline. Are there vents nearby that release the gas? It could be a health issue.
