I loves having meal prepped chili or chicken pot pie. It was super comforting to have hot meals, and I feel prepped soups would be good for a December baby!
When I gave birth I struggled to eat but my friend came over and made me soups and froze them and they saved me!!!
My mom stocked my freezer full of of homemade meals when I was postpartum. Lots of fresh chopped fruit- so it’s easy to make yogurt bowls/snacks etc, but the best was the stuff she made and froze like: chicken enchiladas, spaghetti with meat sauce, ribs with mash and veggies, and a vegetable/lentil soup. I would just pop them into an oven safe dish and throw them in the oven and I had a hot, perfect, easy nourishing meal.
What kinds of meals are her favorites? With my first, my MIL and SIL prepped a bunch for us, but they weren't really things that we eat regularly so they just sat in the freezer. I'd ask her what she likes and make that so you know she'll eat it
