Tantrums

Any other mums really struggling with Lo’s tantrums. My baby girl is 13 months and she has really bad tantrums, by this i mean throwing herself back with so much force and winging meaning she bangs her head. It can be over the littles things, taking things off her, moving her out the room, dress her ect. Any tips as i dont want her to keep banging her head

Woooow we are all in the same boat rowing backwards on a cliff drop😂. I am finding positive reinforcement very helpful when she does it well/ correctly loads of claps and yyaaayyyy! And no response for the throwing thy self round like rag doll ignore it and quickly move on to something more positive. I’m no expert but it’s working for me. Hang in there!

We are in the exact same boat . My lb has been doing for ages . He will scream , kick his legs and throw his arms about. It could be so the tiniest thing too. And getting him dress is a mission xx

Same! Glad we aren’t alone! It’s a test for my reactions how quickly I can react so she doesn’t whack her head off things. I’m the same as others, I try to redirect attention to something else, keeping it light and positive but I’ve been shocked by the big feelings of a 1 year old!

my little girl is such a rage ball, she was so made she ran into the door with force 🥲 my eldest wasn't that bad until she around 2 😅

Hahaha my boy if i tell him no, throws himself into the floor in a ball. He also planks so i can’t get him in the pram now because he wants to walk everywhere!
