Washing hair

Hey, my little girl has started being tricky. Best way for me is distraction! So i put the hand held shower lightly on while she’s in the bath and get her to wash all her animals and toys! While she’s doing that I wash her hair! It seems to be working so far! Good luck. 🙏❤️

I think it happens with most toddlers, my 5yo still cares when we wash hair 🤷‍♀️🤣

Did you figure out why he hates is? My daughter has always hated the feeling of water on her face. We tried a clip on headband that's supposed to stop the water from getting on their face. It works, but she started refusing to wear it. We now use a flannel (the little square towel) to cover her face and she's much happier to get her hair washed.

@Alex apparently he doesn’t like the soap in his eyes but the soap only gets in his eyes because he moves so much 😅 do you have the name of this headband or a link as I wouldn’t mind giving that a go! Thank you xx

I get in the bathtub with her and that helps. I can sit behind her with her laid back and it’s much easier and more calming.

Yes. Thankfully he’s not got masses of hair so I use a bit of baby shampoo on a flannel when in the bath and rinse it the same way. He still hates it but sometimes he doesn’t notice if very distracted.
