For those who have toddlers that are “fussy/picky”

I just want share this I saw on my Instagram for everyone who has a picky/fussy toddler with food point number 2 in particular for me sometimes my nursery makes me feel bad that she doesn’t eat in the afternoon evening but she’s had 2 lots of breakfast normally, snack then her part of lunch maybe the pudding they offer (yoghurt) to me that’s a ton of food and of course she’ll be full and not really interested in eating as she’s having fun/tired

Yes to all of this. Also if plate of food is too much for them likes it’s a large portion or a lot going on the plate I’ve found he’s less likely to eat it.

@Rema we only do small portions and add more if she’s hungry I mean she’s still fussy she “dislikes” a lot of food it’s nice to see on the list of has already eaten enough or isn’t as hungry as we think they should be

Same with point 2 on nursery days also. We offer a light meal or snacks on days he's been to nursery and if he eats it all he can have more rather than a full meal and him chucking it everywhere because he doesn't want it. Helped me so much when I started doing this as I was getting so stressed that he wasn't eating before bed. He'd always have some of his snack at least.
