My son turn 3 this pass March 7 he was diagnosed between the fourth and 8 March. I can’t remember which day, but he started school the following Monday, which was the 11th the process took from last August to those dates above. Which consist of different therapies. I’m in Illinois, so see what your doctor says and is your son on the list to be diagnosed or something else?
My daughter was 3
@Need Help yeah they did a quick pre test and he met the criteria so on the waiting list for an autism assessment. He was put on the list at 11 months.
My son was 3 years old he’s 5 now . The place I had him tested didn’t have a waitlist
My daughter was 15 months when she was diagnosed
@Gabriella Lopez could I ask what signs she had?
No eye contact, having full blown unexplained tantrums in the middle of public places, looking at her fingers a lot, not talking or babbling, likes to play alone, stimming a lot such as spinning or rocking back and forth, hand flapping etc. doing a lot of things that kids do at her age I didn’t see happening
My son was 2.5. He was on a waitlist for about a year. It would’ve been longer if I hadn’t taken the initiative as my family and I saw signs but his pediatrician wasn’t concerned until his 2.5 check up. He was diagnosed a month later.
